Greenweeks 2007

More than 120 events took place all over Greater Nottingham despite some unfavourable weather. Events ranged from allotment open days and canal cruises, to films and festivals, workshops and nature walks. There was even the world’s first green club night!

Greenweeks 2007 was launched at Games Workshop by Nottingham's Queen of Green, Penney Poyzer. It included a planting ceremony and the launch of Lenton Industrial Estate Energy and Waste Management Forum.
